Hydrating Facial Silk

A face cream that took ten years to get right.

Light enough to disappear into the skin. Rich enough to hold moisture through a whole day. It goes on like silk — the name came from the feel of it, not from anything added to it.

The base is cocoa butter and macadamia nut oil — the cocoa butter holds moisture in, the macadamia absorbs deep without sitting heavy on the surface. Jojoba and safflower seed oil carry the blend. Pro-Vitamin B5 for tone and lasting hydration. Sodium hyaluronate to hold water in the skin where it belongs.

The scent is blood orange, frangipani and champaca flower. Three absolutes chosen because they do something useful for the skin and because together they produce a scent that is faint, warm, and worth noticing. It doesn't announce itself. It stays close.


Ten years of adjusting the balance between richness and weight, between moisture and feel. The version in the jar now is the one that finally held everything together.

HOW TO USE

  1. After cleansing, apply a pearl sized amount of cream to your fingertips.
  2. Gently smooth over the face and neck using upward, circular motions.
  3. Allow a few moments for the formula to absorb before applying makeup or facial oil.
  4. Use morning and evening as part of your daily ritual for soft, hydrated, radiant skin. Use after toner and facial oil (coming soon!) for an extra hydration boost.
