The Monthly Almanac Box is a seasonal companion, created to help you notice the quieter shifts of the month, both in the landscape and in yourself.

Each box is shaped by the rhythm of the year and made in small batches, drawing on plant lore, folklore, simple rituals, and time spent paying close attention to the natural world. It is intended to be used slowly and returned to across the weeks that follow, becoming part of an ongoing seasonal practice rather than something fleeting.

Inside each Monthly Almanac Box you will find a carefully considered collection. This includes two product samples, a printed monthly calendar highlighting key dates and moon phases, and two signed art prints. You will also receive a bookmark or greeting card or postcard, along with a 24-page fully illustrated zine.

The zine forms the heart of the box and focuses on what is unfolding in nature that month. It explores seasonal animals, plants, and fungi, their folklore and magical associations, and the customs, traditions, and dates that have long marked the turning of the year. Together, the contents are designed to feel like a companion to the month ahead, something to keep close, return to, and build into a growing archive.

You may choose to purchase a one-off box, or receive the Almanac each month as part of a subscription.

Subscribers receive the box at a reduced monthly price, along with a 15% thank-you discount to use across the Hedgerow & Moor shop for that month. The discount code is included inside the box and changes with the season.

Boxes are produced in limited numbers, in keeping with the pace of the work and the materials involved. Once a month’s allocation has been filled, that edition will not be repeated.

The contents of each box have been made with care and attention, be opened with a cup of tea, and slowly become part of a growing seasonal archive.
