Hydrating Facial Silk

I first developed Facial Silk over ten years ago and have been making it ever since. Over that time I’ve adjusted the balance to get the texture just right: a proper moisturising face cream for dry skin that feels rich in the pot, but light and silky once applied.

It is made with cocoa butter and macadamia oil, alongside jojoba and safflower oils. Pro-Vitamin B5 and sodium hyaluronate complete the formula, helping to keep the skin hydrated and leaving it feeling soft, smooth and comfortable throughout the day.

Despite being made for dry skin, Facial Silk isn’t a thick or heavy cream. It spreads easily, absorbs well and leaves the skin moisturised without a greasy layer. This is something customers mention again and again. One describes it as “very silky and light”, while another simply says, “This is the best face cream I have ever used in my life!!!”

The scent comes from blood orange, frangipani and champaca flower, used at a low level to give the cream its warm floral fragrance with a little citrus.

A new jar, but the same Facial Silk

If you’ve bought Facial Silk before, you’ll notice that it looks different. The formula itself hasn’t changed. I’ve moved it into an amber glass jar to help protect the precious botanical absolutes inside from light. The new jar is also easier to open and makes it much simpler to get to every last bit of cream.

It is still the same Facial Silk I’ve been making for years, just in new packaging.

HOW TO USE

  1. After cleansing, apply a pearl sized amount of cream to your fingertips.
  2. Gently smooth over the face and neck using upward, circular motions.
  3. Allow a few moments for the formula to absorb before applying makeup or facial oil.
  4. Use morning and evening as part of your daily ritual for soft, hydrated, radiant skin. Use after toner and facial oil (coming soon!) for an extra hydration boost.

Love this moisturiser so much - doesn't block pores, sinks in so easily, non greasy finish, doesn't irritate my skin and moisturises better than so many much more expensive products. And my husband thinks it smells like floral sweeties!
