A light, elegant loose leaf black tea inspired by the English hedgerow in early spring. This blend begins with first flush Darjeeling, known for its pale amber liquor and naturally bright, floral character. The tea is gently layered with hawthorn leaf and flower, lemon balm and linden blossom, chosen in small proportions to complement the tea rather than overwhelm it.

Hawthorn brings a quiet hedgerow note that reflects the boundary trees and early green growth of the season. Lemon balm adds a soft lift and freshness, while linden blossom rounds the blend with a delicate honeyed warmth. The result is a balanced, clear cup that feels light and restorative, ideal for slow mornings or a calm afternoon pause.

Ingredients:

Darjeeling black tea, hawthorn leaf & flower (Crataegus monogyna), lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), linden blossom (Tilia cordata).

Brewing guide:

Use 1 level teaspoon per cup (250ml). Pour over freshly boiled water cooled slightly (around 90°C) and infuse for 3–4 minutes.
